Voices for the Shire

We're a group of residents who all care about The Shire. We started out as a couple of neighbours who all cared about similar issues in our neighborhood. Individually we each thought that we were the only ones who cared, but when we started talking to each other we realised we were not alone and that probably meant there are other people living nearby with similar views. Voices for the Shire was inspired by the work of Mary Crooks of the Victorian Women's Trust and work like the Voices4Indi and several others.

We are a new group who is starting to organise our own kitchen table conversations in the area to find out what it is that our community cares about. We are keen to survey this community, compile a report of the voices in The Shire.
